Real-time paddle duels on Apple Watch
Common questions
- Multiplayer needs an internet connection. Your watch connects through your
iPhone, known Wi‑Fi, or cellular (on cellular models). If matches won't start, check
that your watch is online.
- Finding a match. Find Match searches for a human opponent and starts a practice
rally while you wait; if nobody shows up for a while, a bot opponent steps in so you always
get a game.
- Playing a friend. Use Private Match to get a room code, then send an invite from
the waiting screen — or have your friend enter the code under Join Game.
- Purchases and restoring. Cosmetic items are one-time purchases tied to your
Apple Account. On a new watch they restore automatically; the Shop also has a Restore
button.
- Leaderboard. You appear on the leaderboard after completing 10 online matches
against human opponents.
- Screen dims or match stutters. watchOS pauses apps when you lower your wrist, and
Low Power Mode makes this more aggressive — keep your wrist raised during matches
for the smoothest play.
